Sophomore, Colerain Track

In our 2 matches this week against Sycamore & Ross, Neenah had a team-high .381 hitting percentage totaling 10 kills on 21 attempts. In addition to that stat line, she had 6 digs and 2 aces.


Derius Hemphill Jr.

Freshman, Colerain Football

Last week against Lakota West, Derius earned a starting spot on offense. DJ made the most of his start by scoring the game's only touchdown helping lead the freshmen to a 6-2 win over the Firebirds. He has been a leader on and off the field.


Camryn Rhoades

Junior, Colerain Cross Country

Camryn has run back-to-back personal record times at the Little Miami and Springboro Invitationals. She is a consistent member of our varsity squad and works hard each and every day!


Ty Trotter

Junior, Colerain Soccer

In last week's game against GMC foe Middletown, Ty scored a goal and had a goal-line clear that helped preserve the lead for the Cardinals late in regulation.


Kendall Bennett

Junior, Fairfield Golf

“Kendall has a 49 average. On day 1 of the GMC tournament, she scored a 93 and on day 2 a 98 earning her a spot on second team all-conference! So far this season, she has had 12 pars and 1 birdie. Her best round was a 45! Kendall demonstrates grit and integrity and is a great addition to our varsity golf team.”


Luci Crutcher

Junior, Fairfield Golf

“Luci has a 50.6 average. On day 1 of the GMC tournament, she scored a 94 and on day 2 a 96 earning her a spot on second team all-conference! So far this season, she has had 12 pars and 1 birdie. Her best round was a 46! Luci demonstrates grit and integrity and is a great addition to our varsity golf team.”


Aiden Hoyte

Senior, Hamilton Golf

Senior Aiden Hoyte had two strong rounds at the GMC Championships, shooting rounds of 85 and 80. Prior to that, he was the medalist of two matches in victories against Middletown and CCS, with nine-hole rounds of 38 and 41. Aiden has been our number 1 player the entire season and enters the postseason in a couple of weeks and has put himself in a position to advance in the sectional competition.


Hannah New

Senior, Hamilton Volleyball

Big Blue Volleyball is tipping the hat this week for Senior Hannah New. Hannah had a great match helping to defeat Madison HS earlier this week recording 6 kills and 6 digs while avenging a 5 set set back from last year. She has already surpassed her career high in blocks, currently 16! Hannah is always pushing her teammates to play hard every point. Congratulations Hannah!


Logan Spagnuolo

Senior, Lakota East Golf

“Logan works on his game as hard as anyone that I have ever coached, said Coach Combs." He brings passion, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship to every event. Logan is always quick to offer a kind word to his teammates or competitors while also being a fierce competitor. Logan recently shot scores of 77-76 at the GMC tourney to earn All GMC First Team Honors!!!!


Clare Yeazell

Senior, Lakota East Golf

Clare was the overall champion at last week's GMC tourney with scores of 65 and 67. Claire set a new GMC record with her 12 under-par score over two days. She was named the 2023 Girls Golfer of the Year for her efforts. Yeazell is a 4-time 1st Team All-GMC performer. She was also the match medalist against Sycamore and Oak Hills.


Ryan Boyd

Sophomore, Lakota West Soccer

Boyd led the Firebirds in a conference win over Hamilton 6-1. Nick scored three goals in the game.


Jessica Walkenhorst

Senior, Lakota West Volleyball

Jessica had a great game against Hamilton. Walkenhorst had one dig, one block, and 13 kills, guiding the Firebirds in a 3-set win over the Big Blue.


Curtis Crimmins

Sophomore, Mason Golf

Curtis has Mason's lowest scoring average for 9 holes so far this season at 38.36 (4th-best average in the GMC). This week, Curtis posted consistent scores of 74(+2) and 75(+3) at the GMC Championship at Walden Ponds to finish in 4th place in the 60-player tournament. Curtis has scored in the 30's in 9 of his last ten 9-hole rounds for the Comets.


Tanya Zhang

Junior, Mason Golf

Coming into the season, with 1 year of varsity experience, Tanya has picked up where she left off last season and has been a steady, reliable player for the team throughout this year. The growth that Tanya has shown both on and off the course has helped the team continually improve and push one another to get better over the course of the season.


Bre Boyle

Senior, Middletown Cross Country

Senior Bre Boyle finished 5th in the highly competitive Troy Twilight Invitational. Her time of 18:49.09 broke her own 5k cross country school record by 18 seconds!


Leila Johnson

Junior, Middletown Volleyball

Leila leads the team in kills with 55. She also has 28 Digs and 11 blocks on the season. The Middies are 6-5 on the season.


Talan Malicote

Junior, Middletown Football

Talan rushed for 116 yards and 1 touchdown in the victory over East. He was also 3/6 on passing, and had 2 punts for a total of 65 yards.


Connor Murphy

Junior, Middletown Soccer

Connor scored the winning goal in the big victory over Princeton. He is leading the team with 5 goals and 2 assists, which totals 12 points and is 7th in the GMC.


Eric Schroeder

Senior, Middletown Football

Eric rushed for 94 yards and had 2 touchdowns in the victory over East. He scored the winning touchdown with 16 seconds remaining in the game, on a 24 yard run.


John Blevins

Senior, Oak Hills Football

The senior safety collected seven tackles, six solo and one assisted, in his first defensive varsity start. John maintains a 3.79 GPA while taking a variety of honors and AP courses.


Mariah Cornett

Junior, Oak Hills Soccer

Mariah, a junior forward, scored the game winning goal to defeat Mason 1-0 this past week. She also scored one goal in the team's win over Hamilton. Mariah currently has 5 goals and 1 assist for the Highlanders. Mariah attends Diamond Oaks and currently holds a 3.3 GPA.


Brayen Holland

Senior, Oak Hills Cross Country

Brayden has been the top runner on our team for most of the season so far. He has come a long way after dealing with adversity his last couple years. Brayden's work ethic is an excellent example for the rest of the team; he never has a bad day of training and never gives up. The consistency that he brings to practice everyday has helped to elevate him as a great runner. Brayden is also an excellent student with a 4.0 GPA, and he is a multi sport athlete running track in the spring.


Wil Kraus

Sophomore, Oak Hills Football

The sophomore quarterback was 18 of 27 passing for 183 yards and a touchdown. Wil had nine carries for 21 yards and two touchdowns. He is a multisport athlete who maintains a 4.0 GPA while taking numerous honors and AP classes.


Alysse Niewoehner

Junior, Oak Hills Cross Country

Alysse is a positive, determined, and very coachable athlete who works hard every day at practice. She placed as the teams #6 runner at the Troy Twilight Invitational this past Saturday running just two seconds off of her personal best time. Alysse is also an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.


Jake Swisshelm

Junior, Oak Hills Soccer

Jake slotted a goal to the far post against Mason giving Oak Hills a 2-0 lead in the second half of the match that eventually resulted in a 2-2 draw. Jake has improved his approach to the game and has been able to positively impact his play and our team this year. Jake has a 3.4 GPA.


Eve Troutwine

Junior, Oak Hills Cross Country

Eve had a great first race of the season this past Saturday at the Troy Twilight Invitational. She placed as the team's #5 runner, running a time of 21:30. Eve is also a varsity Track and Field athlete as well as a varsity swim team athlete. She has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.


Collin Wilson

Sophomore, Oak Hills Soccer

Collin recorded a goal and an assist against Mason, leading Oak Hills to a 2-2 tie. He did this after being asked to change positions during the match due to a teammate's injury. This was the first time in the history of the program Oak Hills has earned a point against Mason in GMC play.

Rayne has continued to battle through injuries to improve her performance each week. This week at Eaton, she ran a lifetime PR of 26:54.

Daelyn had 2 catches for 40 yards and the game winning touchdown in the Vikings victory over Hamilton on Friday.

Trysta had 31 assists, 18 digs and 2 aces in the Vikings 3-2 win over Middletown.


Gino Nesmith-

Senior, Princeton Football

Gino had a fumble recovery and 3 solo tackles and 1 tackle for loss as the Viking defense gave up only 33 total rushing yards to Hamilton.


Alejandro Tepole

Alejandro was relentless controlling the midfield to end Fairfield's attacks in the Vikings 2-1 victory over the Indians.
