Brady Lovell
Senior, Fairfield Baseball“Brady was our starting pitcher in our first round tournament game against Winton Woods. In a six-inning complete game, Lovell allowed one hit, one run and struck out 14 Winton Woods hitters. This gem on the mound allowed Fairfield to advance to the 2nd round of the OHSAA baseball tournament.”
Ryleigh Peters
Junior, Fairfield Softball“Ryleigh's improvement over last season has been a tremendous reason for our team record this year. Ryleigh has 13 wins and 135 strikeouts with 2 shutouts. Her only losses have been to league and top 3 city leading teams. Offensively, Ryleigh leads our team in homeruns with 4, one of those being a grand slam.”
Jake Reisner
Junior, Lakota East VolleyballJake is a middle-hitter for East. He had a big game against GMC rival Lakota West in the Regional Semi's on Wednesday. All season Jake was a contributor to the Hawk offense. Against the Firebirds he put down 14 kills helping his team earn a win and advance to the Regional Finals against Centerville. This season Jake was 7th overall as an attack leader in the GMC stats.
Evan Whiteaker
Senior, Lakota East BaseballEvan propelled the Hawks into the postseason with a complete-game shutout against Turpin. Evan struck out 10 Spartans and only surrendered a single hit. Evan's ERA for the season was a stingy 2.30.
Max Liao
Sophomore, Mason TrackMax won the GMC 800m title and was a member of the GMC championship 4x800 relay. Max is now on the Mason All-Time Top 10 list for the 800m.
Advika Sumit
Senior, Mason TrackAdvika is a distance runner on the girl's track and field team. Her upbeat and positive attitude has made a lasting impact on her teammates and the school community as a whole. Advika has worked hard to earn the opportunity to compete for her team at the regional championship this week in hopes of qualifying for the state championship in Columbus.
Kailee Hebert
Junior, Oak Hills SoftballKailee has been solid for the Highlanders in Centerfield all season. She’s also been clutch with game winning dingers. She had a homerun in the beginning of the season to take the win against Mason and hit her 3rd homer of the season for a walk-off against Lebanon to clinch the District Title. Kailee not only leads on the softball field but she’s a 3 sport athlete who maintains a 3.58 GPA attending classes at Oak Hills and Diamond Oaks.
Riley Ludwig
Senior, Oak Hills TrackAs she nears the conclusion of her senior year, Riley seems to be saving her best for last. After an incredible 4 years, she is poised for a huge finish as she prepares to compete in the 100m hurdles at the Regional Championship. She was district runner-up in the event a few days ago in a lifetime best time of 14.81, landing her name in the #2 spot on the all-time Oak Hills list.
Nate Srode
Senior, Oak Hills TrackAfter a 5th place finish in the 3200m last season at districts, Nate refocused and landed a 3rd place finish this year. His top-4 finish earned him a chance to compete at the regional championships later this week. Nate has been an incredible leader to his teammates this past year and he will be greatly missed.
James Walz
Sophomore, Oak Hills TrackJames' only job at the district championship finals, was to be ready on deck as an alternate for the 4x400 relay. Most of the time, an alternate does not need to be called upon. Regardless, he prepared himself physically and mentally and had to wait until just 2 minutes before his race to be finally told that he would be running. He stepped into some very big shoes but did not let his team down. James helped the 4x400 relay to a 4th place finish and advanced to the regional championship this week.
Briasia Allen
Senior, Princeton TrackBriasia ran a 58.2 and placed 2nd in the District 400 meter run.
Andrew Edrington
Junior, Princeton BaseballAndrew 3/6 with a triple, an RBI, a walk, 3 stolen bases, 4 runs scored and pitched 6 innings and recorded 10 strikeouts in the Vikings tournament win over West Clermont.
Joe Mitchell
Senior, Princeton TrackJoe was District Champion in both the 110 Meter and 300 meter hurdles.
Jamey Spears
Junior, Princeton BaseballJamey 3/6 with a triple 2 RBI's a walk and a run scored in the Vikings sectional wins last week.
