Leigha Kayder

Junior, Colerain Softball

Leigha currently leads the softball team with a .533 batting average, which ranks 3rd in the GMC. This past week, she went 6 for 9 at the plate with 2 doubles and 4 RBI.


DeAndre Turner

Junior, Colerain Track

DeAndre Turner recorded an impressive personal record in the discus event at Lakota East in the pouring rain.


Greg Williams

Junior, Colerain Track

Greg Williams won the discus event on Tuesday, setting a massive personal record in the process!


Jacob Boland

Senior, Fairfield Baseball

“Jacob Boland has been a dominating force all year. He deserves athlete of the week for his outing against Sycamore with 6 IP, 1 ER, 0 walks and added 12 strikeouts.”


Abby Stanfield

Senior, Fairfield Softball

“Abby is on fire at the plate. Last week, she went 15-19 (.789) with 2 homeruns, 6 doubles and a triple. She had 13 RBI. In games with Lakota East (3 for 3), Sycamore (4 for 4) and Mason (4 for 4), she was perfect at the plate. Defensively, Abby is .933 and has played a solid 3rd base for 3 seasons.”


Nick Brosius

Senior, Hamilton Baseball

Nick, a senior, is a member of the baseball Team. Nick is currently in the top 25 in the GMC for batting average, currently sitting at .308. That is also the highest average for the Big Blue team. In the last 5 games he is 6 for 14 with 5 RBI's, helping put the team on a 6 game winning streak. He is a strong fielder as well. He has a .977 fielding average with 85 putouts and only 2 errors on the season. Nick is a senior leader for the baseball team. We are excited to see what the rest of the season brings for Nick


Noah King

Junior, Hamilton Track

Noah, a junior, is a member of the boys track team. Noah is off to a great start for the track team. Last Tuesday at the Talawanda meet he had a huge day taking first place in the 100M dash, the high jump and the 4x200M relay. Last Wednesday at Lakota West he took 3rd in the 100M dash and 2nd in the 4x100M relay. Noah continues to cut times and is looking to peak in the GMC meet and the postseason.


Makayla Platt

Junior, Hamilton Track

Makayla, a junior, is a member of the girls track team. Makayla took 2nd place in the 100M hurdles at both the Talawanda and Lakota West meets last week and scored in the relays and the high jump both days as well. She has been a consistent scorer for the girls track team all spring. Makayla also participates in cheer and swim. She is a great leader and role model in the building.


RJ Shepherd

Junior, Hamilton Track

RJ, a junior, is a member of the boys track team. RJ had a great week for the Big Blue. RJ took first in the 4x100M and 4x200M relays last Tuesday at the Talawanda meet and took 2nd in the 100M dash and the 4x100M relay in the meet last Wednesday at Lakota West. RJ continues to be a scorer in all meets and we look forward to a great deal of post season success. RJ is also a starter for the football team


Tyler Gruber

Sophomore, Lakota East Tennis

Tyler's tennis skills, coupled with his positive energy, bring tremendous leadership to the entire East tennis program! He is a constant source of encouragement to his teammates and always gives his best on and off the court! All of this has added up to a successful season for Tyler!


Carson Hill

Senior, Lakota East Volleyball

Carson is a setter for the Hawks. He has been a varsity setter for all 4 years of his high school career. He does a great job leading the team and helping orchestrate the Thunderhawk offense. Carson is currently #1 in the GMC in assists and recently surpassed a historic milestone of 2,000 assists for his career.


Kenzie Muncy

Senior, Lakota West Softball

Kenzie went 2-3 at the plate and drove in 3 runs, beating the Highlanders 10-7.


Jacob Stauffer

Senior, Lakota West Baseball

Jacob led the Firebirds to defeat the Aves 4-3 in extra innings, going 2-for-3 at the plate.

Sophomore, Mason Tennis

Greg was part of the one-two punch that helped the Comets secure a 4-1 victory over Centerville Monday. Bernadsky plays #1 singles. The victory over the Elks advanced Mason to the OTCA SW District Quarterfinal match against Tippecanoe to be played at Mason on May 3.


Joe Hammond

Senior, Mason Volleyball

Joe has been a starter the entire season with solid consistent play. In the win over Oak hills he had 16 serves with no errors and 3 blocks. Thanks Joe for your senior leadership throughout this competitive season.


Daniel Tonkal

Sophomore, Mason Tennis

Zak At-Razi

Senior, Middletown Volleyball

Zaki had 4 kills, 10 digs,and 21 passes in the win over Hamilton on Senior Night. He has 70 kills and 106 digs on the season which ranks him in the Top 10 in GMC.


DeArystin Mitchell

Sophomore, Middletown Track

DeArystin was the anchor in 4x2 that got 1st at Miamisburg. She was also part of the 4x1 that got 3rd place, as she was the anchor. DeArystin also placed 1st in the open 100M and 200M.


Nashley Soriano

Senior, Middletown Track

Nashely was lead leg in 4x1, 4x2 and 4x4. She was the first runner in each of the relays and had great starts that put the Middies in first place after each of her legs. She has shown great improvements in her Senior year.


Isaac Stamper

Senior, Middletown Baseball

Isaac went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's in the win over Fenwick. He was named the Player of the Game for the Reds Showcase. Isaac is hitting .350 on the season.


Evan Urso

Senior, Middletown Baseball

Evan came in relief and pitched 3 innings and gave up only 2 hits with no earned runs, and 3 strikeouts for the win over Fenwick.


Gabe Cox

Junior, Oak Hills Baseball

Gabe Cox is a multisport athlete, basketball and baseball. He earned his first GMC win, pitching a full game against Middletown this week. Gabe only gave up 3 hits, had 3 strikeouts and no earned runs. Gabe is a strong student-athlete in the top 2% of his class, maintaining a 4.0 in AP and honors classes. He is a member of NHS and Spanish NHS.


Annabelle Hageman

Junior, Oak Hills Track

Annabelle is a three sport varsity athlete (Track, Cross Country, Swimming). She is one of the strongest leaders on the team. She has helped lead the way for the mid distance group this season, racing most frequently in the 4x800 and the 800 meters. At the Elder Invitational last week she won the 800 meters and placed 2nd in the 4x800 relay. She is currently ranked #10 on the Oak Hills all time list for the 800 meters.


Ra'niyah Martin

Senior, Oak Hills Track

Ra'niyah has been a standout team member for the Oak Hills track team the past several weeks. Her focus and hard work have really been paying off. At the Elder Invitational last week, Ra'niyah won the 100 meters, was part of the winning 4x100 relay and finished 4th in the 200 meters. So far she has achieved #6 on the Oak Hills all time list in the 200 meters and #4 in the 100 meters.


Daniel Miller

Senior, Oak Hills Tennis

Daniel Miller, Went 3-0 on the week defeating Summit, Princeton, and Colerain. Daniel has helped propel the highlanders to a 6-3 record thus far. Daniel has a 4.0 in all Honors and AP classes.


Brady Raible

Junior, Oak Hills Volleyball

Brady has been a vital part of the Highlanders all season, but this week he stepped up and had over 30 digs throughout their 3 games, and passed over a 2.0 rating over the week!


Kennedy Schulte

Freshman, Oak Hills Lacrosse

Kennedy helped both our teams to wins on Friday night against McNick. With 6 JV goals and a handful of draw controls, she showed true leadership on the field. She was also a huge asset to our Varsity team, as she is a consistent player that can be counted on for transitions and offensive saves. Kennedy has already grown so much, we can not wait to see how she grows in the rest of her high school career!


Hunter Shoushe

Senior, Oak Hills Track

Hunter Shoushe Boys' Track Sr. Hunters has been a great addition to the team during his first year as a track and field athlete. He started as a sprinter, but voluntarily moved up to mid distance to fill a gap that our team had. As a mid distance runner, Hunter has flourished. He was part of the 4x800 relay team that won at the Elder Invitational last week and was 3rd in the 800 meters running a personal best time.


Leanna Steelman

Junior, Oak Hills Softball

Leanna has been a consistent piece in our 10-5 season start. She is a true gamer/hustler. She came in this season with the least amount of experience and has made one of the biggest impacts. She is always going as hard as she can to make big plays and finds ways to get on base. She has held steady in centerfield coming up with game changing catches and has gunned a few runners out at home. Leanna is hitting in the two spot getting SAC bunts down when needed and hitting .385 with a .404OBP. Leanna is a total team player and always does what is asked of her. Leanna finds ways to help her team win.


Aiden Whitaker

Senior, Oak Hills Track

Aiden has overcome a rough start to his season with a second place finish in the discus at the Elder Invitational last week. He is Oak Hills' top thrower and has high hopes to place among the top in the GMC and Districts in the coming weeks. The leadership that Aiden has shared with the throwing group has been invaluable to the team's development.

Demari Harrington

Demari Harrington-SR-Volleyball At the Libero position, Demari had 52 digs in the Vikings wins over Dayton Wayne, Middletown and Mt. Healthy.


Ben Schuetz

Ben had an outstanding week at the plate for his Aviator baseball team. Batting 5 for 8, scoring 5 runs, knocking 4 RPI's, 2 base on balls and 3 stolen bases. No doubt he was an offensive presence for the Ave! Nice job young man.


Andrew Wittenbaum

Senior, Sycamore Tennis

Andrew won a 2nd singles match vs Lakota East in a GMC/State team tournament match. Then he played doubles in a big win over Olentangy Orange! He is 10-0 on the season.
