Jackson HattersleyColerain - Senior
Jackson has stepped into a leadership role on the team this year and led the team to a 9th place finish at GMC meet. He continues to drop time every week and works hard to achieve his goals.
Amelia BoergerColerain - Senior
Amelia set a new PR of 22:09 at Ross two weeks ago. She is a leader on the team and motivates everyone around her to achieve their goals
Bailey WarnerOak Hills - Junior
Junior Bailey Warner ran a gutsy race with a strong finish, just missing making All-GMC and finishing 29th. Bailey ran a 40 second PR of 21:49.
Noah LockeMiddletown - Senior
Senior Noah Locke ran an aggressive race Saturday at the GMC Cross Country Championships. Noah finished 7th overall making first team All-GMC and running a PR of 16:18.
Kellen DavisMiddletown - Junior
Kellen Davis threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns as the Middies picked up the win over Oak Hills. He is 6th in the GMC in passing yards with 1027 total yards.
Majaden (JJ) LewisMiddletown - Junior
Majaden has been a force to reckon with at Defensive End. In the win over Oak Hills, he had 8 solo tackles, 13 total tackles, 2 sacks and a blocked PAT. Majaden is in the Top 20 in the GMC in total tackles with 42.
Jessica RogozinskiOak Hills - Junior
Jessica, a natural forward, has transitioned into outside back this season for the Highlanders. She helped the Highlanders pick up a big shutout win at Lakota West to end conference play. Jessica has improved each day, as she continues to study and embrace her new role/position for the team
Cannon KartyeOak Hills - Senior
Cannon has been a fantastic leader his senior year. The intensity and positivity that he brings to practice every day have helped to elevate his teammates to various levels of success. He had a strong performance for Highlanders at the GMC Championship, earning 2nd Team GMC honors.
Carly SchloemerOak Hills - Senior
Carly has been our utility player during this Fall season. She can play any position and stepped up doing it all. During our one match this week, Carly had 8 digs and 2 serving aces. Carly currently takes all of her classes at Miami University and plans to study Accounting.
Alyssa HammondOak Hills - Junior
Alyssa ran a great race this past Saturday at the GMC league meet. She placed 5th overall with a season's best time of 19:36 to help her team to a 2nd place league finish. She earned 1st team All-League honors for the third year in a row.
Kellee ShayOak Hills - Sophomore
Kellee was asked to compete in the varsity GMC race just 20 minutes before race time due to a teammate not feeling well. With just a quick warm-up she stepped to the line ready to compete. Kellee ran an incredible race, placing 6th for her team and 24th overall, helping her team to a 2nd place finish. She earned 2nd team All-League honors. Kellee is also currently a varsity cheerleader.
Caroline ThompsonSycamore - Sophomore
Caroline shot 75 at the women’s District Tournament last week and qualified for the State Tournament as an individual this week. Caroline had a rollercoaster of a round including two double bogeys and a triple bogey but bounced back with six birdies during the round as well!
Beck BrinkmanSycamore - Senior
Nominated as Senior Captain for senior night. Scored two TDs on two receptions in 47-20 victory over Hamilton
Isaac SchachleiterMason - Junior
Isaac is a key cog in the Mason Cross Country Machine. He is a key reason why the Comets are undefeated. Isaac won individual honors at the Culver Invitational earlier this season. He has been the second man in all the other meets this year. Isaac not only is he an intense, competitor, but he is a great teammate, always working to bring his teammates along in their progression as well. Coming back from a horrific injury last season, Isaac has come back stronger than ever. Isaac is a respected leader and a stellar student.
Kennedy RaderMason - Senior
Kennedy has been so steady and consistent this year and has been a model of hard work and a great attitude. She has never wavered in her commitment to the team or her pursuit of excellence for the team's sake. She is a consummate team player, and always puts in the extra mile....literally. Kennedy is not always the fastest of our top 7 on race day, but she will always go deep to the well to do her best for the team. She is a fierce competitor and a true leader, both on and off the course. She just recently had her personal best time and is on track for her best season yet. The coaching staff could not be more proud of her and her efforts to help this team succeed.
Arica ThiesFairfield - Senior
“Arica is currently #1 in the GMC with 64 blocks. She has totaled 184 kills on the season, including 41 last week to help the tribe to a 3-1 record on the week, including huge wins over Lakota East and Miamisburg. Arica’s high-level play will continue to lead the team into tournament play.”
Jordan JacksonFairfield - Junior
“Jordan showed up BIG on the last two drives Friday night. On the first drive, he had a 67-yard run to set us up at the 9-yard line. Talon Fisher ran it in for the game-tying touchdown the next play. On the very next drive, Jordan ran 37 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with just 23 seconds left on the clock. The score gave us a 28-21 lead over Lakota East, who was sitting in first place at the top of the conference. Jordan finished the evening with 126 yards on just 9 carries and the go-ahead touchdown.”
Mekhi LynnPrinceton - Senior
Mekhi was 13/20 passing for 337 yards and 4 touchdowns and rushed for another in his season debut as the Vikings took down Mason!!
Karlye FavorsPrinceton - Senior
Karlye came off the bench from a recent injury to record an assist in the game against Talawanda.
Meredith BrownLakota East - Sophomore
Meredith switched sports from soccer to cross country early into the season this Fall. Her incredible work ethic, and desire to be the best runner she can be, added a much-needed spark to the women’s cross country team. Meredith has been a key member of the Lady Hawks distance squad by being a varsity scorer in every meet during the regular season. Meredith and the rest of the Thunderhawks are preparing for the District Championships this week with the goal of qualifying for the Regional Championships in Troy.
Sean CastilloLakota East - Junior
Sean has had a breakout season this Fall for the Lakota East men’s cross country team. He has knocked 1 minute and 15 seconds off of his 5k (3.1-mile) personal record from last season, which puts his new personal best at 17:08. Castillo is a key, scoring member of the Thunderhawk varsity squad. He will help power the men’s team through the District Championships and into the Regional Championships next week. In the process, he hopes to break 17:00 to join the prestigious all-time top performers list for Lakota East High School.
