Kalia is averaging 8.5 assists per game over the last two games. In the win against Hamilton, Kalia had a balanced game with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists.


Demarco Kates

Senior, Colerain Wrestling

Demarco competed this weekend in the Coaches Classic, where he took 2nd place out of 59 teams. Demarco is one of the best leaders to come through Colerain and works relentlessly to achieve his goals.


Ariyonah Lynch

Freshman, Colerain Basketball

Ari recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the Cards win against Walnut Ridge.


Josey Peters

Junior, Colerain Wrestling

Josey competed in the 1st ever Middie Classic this weekend, where she placed 4th. Win or lose, Josey never stops competing. In her second year of wrestling, she has made huge strides to start the season.


Kristen Nichting

Freshman, Fairfield Bowling

“Kristen Nichting led the team in our victories over two GMC opponents Princeton and Hamilton. She had a 307 series for 2 games against Princeton and a 355 series against Hamilton. Her consistent scores, determination and focus are a great asset for this young varsity team. Kristen is also ranked 10th in the GMC conference and the only freshman in the top 10. She is leading the Fairfield team with an average of 161.5.” Coach Bob Bowen


Nicole Perez

Senior, Fairfield Wrestling

“Nicole Perez is an amazing asset to the team. She's a great leader, stays positive and supportive at all times. She was in the finals every single tournament over Christmas break, coming home with two 1st place wins.”


Miguel Ruiz

Sophomore, Fairfield Wrestling

“Miguel Ruiz has been stacking up wins for the Indians and took 1st place at the Kenston Invitational. Miguel has put in a lot of off-season work, and it is paying off. With Miguel's work ethic and dedication, the sky's the limit to how he can finish this season.”


Blake Stark

Junior, Fairfield Bowling

“Blake Stark rolled games of 236 & 254 for a 490 2-game series, which currently leads the GMC for high series. Blake also rolled 431 (223, 190) against GMC rival Hamilton. Blake continues to be one of the leaders on the team.” Coach Phil Matteson


Adam Chambers

Sophomore, Lakota East Swimming

Dedicated sophomore on the swim team, Adam has earned Athlete of the Week for his relentless work ethic and outstanding growth this season. He shows up every day ready to learn, stays coachable, and consistently pushes himself to improve. His hard work is paying off by making major strides since last year and continues to drop time at nearly every meet. Adam’s commitment and steady progress make him a standout athlete on the team.


Madelyn Pergrem

Senior, Lakota East

Madelyn, a standout senior can be recognized for her leadership and the positive energy she brings to every practice and meet. She consistently sets the tone for the team, communicating clearly with the whole team and supporting underclassmen swimmers with confidence and kindness. Her upbeat attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to bring teammates together make her an invaluable leader both in and out of the pool.


Cameron Fiasco

Senior, Lakota West Wrestling

Cameron is off to an outstanding start to his senior campaign. Last week, he was 2nd in his weight class at the Warhawk Classic, a 30-team field held at Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, Kentucky. He went 3-1 with three major decision wins. The week prior, Cameron placed 3rd at the Coaches Classic, a 59-team field hosted at Middletown High School. He went 5-1 with three pins, one technical fall, and one decision win.


Julie Shultz

Senior, Lakota West Wrestling

Senior Julie Shultz continues to set the standard as both a competitor and a leader. A team captain and proven leader, Shultz owns an impressive 15–4 record this season while consistently taking on top competition. She finished Runner-Up at both the Hammer and Anvil Tournament at Western Brown and the Warhawk Classic in Georgetown, Kentucky (Jan. 2), and captured the championship title at the Ross Invitational on Dec. 28. Beyond her success on the mat, Shultz is a true class act in the classroom, carrying an outstanding 4.3 GPA. A champion in every sense, she exemplifies dedication, discipline, and excellence. After graduation, Julie plans to attend Ball State University, where she will major in Speech Pathology.


Amina Akmadova

Freshman, Mason Wrestling

Amina, a freshman and first-year wrestler for the Mason Comets, has made an impressive entrance this season. She boasts a record of 7-3 and earned a 4th place finish at the Middletown Girls Invitational. Her dedication to wrestling since the spring is evident, consistently displaying a positive attitude and eagerness to improve. Amina embodies the program's core values, and her progress is clearly visible on the mat.


Bryan Oh

Senior, Mason Wrestling

BRYAN OH, A SENIOR 215 LB WRESTLER FOR THE MASON COMETS, HAS BEEN A FORMIDABLE FORCE IN THE LINEUP SINCE LAST SEASON. HE CAME JUST ONE MATCH AWAY FROM PLACING AT DISTRICTS, SETTING THE STAGE FOR HIS CONTINUED PROGRESS. HE FOLLOWED THAT UP WITH A 4TH PLACE FINISH AT FREESTYLE STATE IN THE SPRING, CARRYING THE SAME INTENSITY INTO THIS SEASON. BRYAN BATTLED TO A 4TH PLACE FINISH AT THE SWOWCA COACHES CLASSIC AND RECENTLY ACHIEVED HIS FIRST TOURNAMENT TITLE AS A HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE AT THE CIWT. HIS CONSISTENCY, TOUGHNESS, AND COMPETITIVE MINDSET ARE EVIDENT EVERY TIME HE STEPS ON THE MAT.


Isabel Dellecave

Junior, Oak Hills Wrestling

Isabel helped lead our team to a 4-2 team record at the Marysville Duals this past weekend. She made adjustments to her weight class on short notice, and help lead the team to victories over Lakota East, Brush, Miami Trace, and River Valley


Jason Eby

Senior, Oak Hills Bowling

Jason has been a very consistent bowler for the boys this season. Along with that Jason has been a great teammate and leader on varsity. Jason is in the top 30 bowlers in the GMC.


Kobe Hall

Senior, Oak Hills Basketball

Kobe returned to the Boys' Basketball program for his senior year. He put in a lot of work over the summer and fall. He has been very competitive in practice and helps the varsity prepare for each game. Kobe has earned the respect and pride of our student-athletes as a selfless teammate. He attends Diamond Oaks in the Electrician's Program.


Jonovan Herzog

Senior, Oak Hills Basketball

Jonovan is a multi-sport athlete who has been getting more consistent with his work ethic and competitiveness. He is versatile and skilled, and he was instrumental in the Highlanders taking 3rd place in the Red Division in the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic.


Logan Ramstetter

Junior, Oak Hills Academic

Logan has done a great job of preparing for our season and is a great example for his teammates! Logan is also a great student who challenges himself in the classroom by taking multiple AP and CCP courses!


Brayden Seiler

Sophomore, Oak Hills Bowling

Brayden has worked hard over the summer to improve his game and it has reflected this season. Brayden is also a great teammate and is constantly looking to improve any chance he gets.


Anna Shattuck

Sophomore, Oak Hills Bowling

Anna had a good showing at the first tournament of 2026, the Back to School Bash, on Saturday at Rollhouse Fairfield. She finished 9th overall with a good series of 336 pins, averaging 168 pins per game. This was also the first tournament of the year for the girls to bowl on the State Sectional/District oil pattern; which is a higher level of difficulty. Anna's efforts helped lead the Highlanders to a 6th place overall finish out of 32 participating teams.


A'mire Gill

Junior, Princeton Basketball

A'mire helped Princeton defeat Indianapolis Cathedral. He shot 10-15 from the field with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals.


Erin Thomas

Sophomore, Princeton Basketball

Erin led the Vikings in wins over Big Walnut and Winton Woods. She scored 24 pts in the game against Big Walnut and had 17 points and 8 rebounds against Winton Woods.
